While visiting three of our grandchildren, we made simple coasters. The twins are in a sewing class and are doing a great job of learning how to sew.

My grandson isn’t old enough to use the sewing machine so I made his.
No knitting today. I’m just amazed at how flat it is traveling through Kansas. We can see for miles and miles. So unlike the twisty, mountainous roads in Almost Heaven West Virginia. 
My progress on the shawl I began knitting while stuck in traffic due to an accident:
I’m adapting the Kindness Shawl pattern to make for an easier travel knit. All garter stitch with the eyelets in the main body. Not sure if I’ll go to a lacy pattern at the edge.
Mr. Aitch and I are stuck on the interstate. Two hours so far. 😬
Time to do something constructive.
