Are you tired of reading about my socks? Well, this is about the first sock in Season 3 of The Handmade Sock Society series: Luminary.
I cast on as soon as I finished the previous season sock, Dorsal, using some reclaimed yarn from another project.
The variegated yarn was pooling on the cuff but I persevered for another 15-18 rows before I ripped it all out.
This yarn is not for this pattern.
The interesting texture stitches got lost between the light and dark shades so it’s back in my stash. Again.
Enter Knit Picks Stroll in the Inverness colorway, “composed of deep navy, forest green, dark anthracite, and with a pop of celestial blue.” It’s been in my stash for a couple of years begging to be seen. I’m sure this one is “the one.”
And it better be as Helen has just released the third sock in the series. I am so behind!
I almost forgot…Happy Birthday to my favorite daughter! I love you!!❤️😘💕
You are always up for a challenge! Can’t wait to see how they turn out!
