No foot photo

I finished the first sock of the fourth pair in the Handmade Sock Society season 2 series.  I love it as well as all the other socks I’ve knit in this series.

I followed my row count as in the other socks and this one is a bit too small/short in the foot length.  Like one-half to three-quarters of an inch.  That might not seem like a lot as socks do have stretch to them, however, this one was stretched to the max and it would feel uncomfortable on my size 8 foot.

We’re headed to Mr. Aitch’s brother’s house this weekend (on the motorcycle – that’s another story) and my S-I-L wears a size six shoe.  I’ll take the finished sock with me to see 1.) if it fits her foot and 2.) she would want the pair.  If the answer is no to either of those questions, I’ll unknit the toe and add another pattern repeat.  That should do it

But I’m casting on sock #2 anyway.
