Nothing

I have nothing on my needles.  N.O.T.H.I.N.G.

I finished my papaya sweater last night and I want to block again.  The bottom edge was still curling even with the crocheted edge.  I hope that cures it.

I tried the sweater on this past weekend and I wasn’t loving it.  I hope I will after all the time and effort that went into it.  Blocking can only cure certain things…

Distance

My daughter and the twins spent the weekend with us.

"E"

"Z"

We baked cookies, played with shrinky dinks, sewed dresses for the twins and made polymer clay buttons.

They went home on Monday and I went into my I-miss-them-so-much mood.

They live three hours away but the distance sucks.  I wish we lived closer so we could see each other more often.  We have a lot of fun together.

Safe and appreciated

I mailed a package to my friend in Kentucky last Saturday.  She received it safe and sound yesterday so I thought I’d share pictures of what I sent to her.  The soaker is for her 8-month old girl.  Yarn: Cascade 220 (green and brick-red) and Sensations Kashmira (aqua – discontinued).

Originally I was going to make a face on the back side but didn’t have the right colors of yarn to finish it.

I also sent her very own pair of Musica Mitts.  She loves music and commented on the mitts I made for Mr. Aitch so I thought I’d make a pair for her.
