I love knitting socks and have knit dozens of them.
When I wash them, I try to keep them separate from the rest of the clothes so I put them in mesh wash bags. I bought two of the bags (I make my own now) and could never find them when needed.
Magnetic hook to the rescue.

I now keep the bags on the front of my washing machine so I can always find them when I wash my socks.

I air dry my handknitted socks so the bag makes to so easy to find them mixed in with the other clothes when transferring to the dryer.

Great idea. How do you make your laundry bags?

Great question. I can’t locate the exact pattern/technique that I use but there are many out there. Maybe I should make a tutorial.

I too use mesh bags to wash my socks. But since I sort the laundry in our bedroom, I just keep the bags in the laundry basket.
