Never forget

I’ve known this man since he was four years old. His mother and I took turns carpooling him and my daughter to preschool many years ago. I’ve since lost touch with them though I occasionally see his father at the market.

Jonathan was at the Pentagon on September 11, 2001. Here is a link to his story.

    • Shanksville is less than an hour from here. The memorial was not finished when we were there a few years ago. We also visited Ground Zero and the 9/11 Museum in New York City. Very sobering.

      • The wind chimes weren’t built yet when we were there. It’s about 2 hours from me. In 2001, I lived in Upstate NY – my nephew’s wife worked across from the WTC- she said she learned that day that you CAN run in high heels. I still have a gut reaction to planes flying low overhead
