The Shaadi Mitts begun way back in ???

Here they are today after I ripped them apart and started over.  It’s just been too hot to knit plus other things, like life, got in the way.

But someone else has been knitting up a storm!  Carrie Cahill Mulligan of CCM Hats fame. She will be participating at the League of New Hampshire Craftsmen’s Fair at beautiful Mount Sunapee Resort from August 6-14.  I’ll be there to admire her exquisite handiwork.

I was smitten by her work in 2011, my first time at the fair, and ended up with one of her hats.  Well, it was from a kit I purchased from her and I knit it but I still refer to it as my CCM hat.  My embroidery skills are sub par compared to hers.

So if you are interested in a road trip, head to New Hampshire to the Fair.
