The last post about my Peony Twist Cardi was about not having the right buttons. I found some but I’m not loving them.

I was knitting this sweater during one of my many visits to the doctor this year (not a good year health-wise) and one of the nurses told me she looked forward seeing me wear the sweater to my next appointment. That’s coming up on Thursday! It’s just a regular check-up, thank goodness.
I’m not going to have time to find any other buttons before then AND get them sewed on so I’m just going to use what I have. I can always change them later, right?
The Vine Vest is still on the needles. I think five more rows of ribbing will do it and then it will be done.

The sweater is beautiful. Sewing on the buttons is a hard job sewing them on once let alone sewing them on again..

I did wear it to the doctor’s office and work and got a lot of compliments on it. I’ll have my husband take/post another picture of it with the buttons finally sewn on.
