The Four Seasons Vine Lace Vest is not distraction friendly. I need total silence.
I’ve ripped out and reknit parts of this many, many times. After separating at the shoulder area, I seem to have forgotten how to count. I either have too few stitches or too many stitches.
I am so looking forward to finishing this but am almost to the point of ripping it out and making something else out of this yarn.
Plus I discovered a mistake about eight inches back. Will anyone else be able to see it? I don’t know.
And right now I don’t care.
I might be able to fix it but I’m not going to worry about it. Yet.
You certainly have more patience than I. I’ve made mistakes in two of my sweaters – now I can’t even find the mistake. No one else would be able to find your mistake,

I admire your patience as well and I’d venture to say also that no one will find that mistake! When I mentioned that there are patterns which require total silence and concentration, someone mentioned the “Cone of Silence”. I loved that. 🙂

I made one lace scarf before that was more complex than this and had no problems. Beginning to think this thing is cursed. However, I am very stubborn and will keep trying. I
