If you have siblings, you might have said this when you got up from your place on a chair or the sofa. Maybe you needed to get a drink or snack. Or answer the phone (when they were still attached with a cord). Or go to the bathroom. “I get this seat when I get back.”
Mr. Aitch and I don’t have that problem.
But Pepper and I do.
I forgot to say, “I get this chair when I get back.”

I’m sure you said/heard that a lot with your siblings when growing up. And hear it now with your kids along with “Mommmm, he/she took my seat!”
