Leftover beef roasts and vegetables make delicious vegetable soup. At least that’s my opinion. And my vegetable soup is very delicious.
When I was cutting up the cooked beef this morning, this happened:
I almost sliced off the entire side of my fingertip. I didn’t photograph the actual cut as it was too gross. You’re just going to have to trust me on that. Mr. Dr. Aitch fixed it right up.
Then he finished cutting up the meat and other vegetables for the soup.
Gee, I don’t think I can wash the dishes today even with rubber gloves. =) Turned that right into a positive, didn’t I?
You better sit with your finger up for a week and be waited on hand and foot. We wouldn’t want that cut to be infected 🙂

While I think it is great that you can;t do dishes, I hope that the cut isn;t really too bad. I would hate it to interfere with your knitting. 🙂

Thanks. Left hand. It doesn’t interfere with my knitting. I really need to post a picture of my current project. I’ll probably do that once I’ve made more progress.

Of course we love to see photos. Glad it wasn;t your dominant hand – now you can relax with knitting while being waited on. 🙂

You had a lot of replies to your injury. Hope it and you are feeling better.

Oh my…..that could be bad. Just use your dishwasher……the electric one!

Oh, we used the dishwasher but my vintage 1975 Crock Pot nor good knives (like the one I was using) can’t go in there so Mr. Aitch had to do some dishes by hand.
