This afternoon I tried to add some bling to the cupcake hats. The only thing I could think of was seed beads. Or should that be “were”? Anyway I sewed a few seed beads on one hat to see what it looked like. 
It was cute but when I tried it on, the beads dug into my head.
So no bling on the cupcake hats. Unless you have another suggestion…
They will be gifted this coming Saturday.

i agree. sequins would work.

Or metallic thread and embroider the beads as french knots. They would be bigger and show up more. DMC makes a nice metallic silver #5.
