I am knitting your pattern Eyelet toddler cardigan and being a relative beginner I am stumped by your directions to “join the sleeves”. All sts on the sleeves to the body ? HOW? Perhaps I am making something out of nothing but I cannot envision how to do this. Any advice is appreciated. Thank you.
Knit across the front then join the sleeve stitches on the same needle, knit across the back, join the other sleeve stitches on the same needle and knit the front. The knitting will be tight for the first few rows as there isn’t much give with the sleeve stitches. I use circular needles, straight needles and sometimes double point needles combined to get those few rows finished.
