I’ve been sick since Thursday evening. It all began with a sore throat and plugged up sinuses.
Then on Friday my nose decided to get into the act. I started using cotton handkerchiefs to catch the drips.
By Saturday I was achy and miserable. In fact I received some yummy yarn in the mail and I didn’t feel like opening the package. Have you ever felt so bad that your favorite activity doesn’t even interest you? I haven’t picked up my knitting needles since Thursday evening.
Sunday was better in that my sinuses seem to be clear. But now I have a terrible cough that sounds as if my lungs will come right out of my mouth.
I am so hoping that my doctor can squeeze me in today for an appointment just so we can rule out pneumonia.
Mr. Aitch has been taking great care of me…cooking and washing the dishes. ❤️
Monday night and Tuesday morning we will be under a different kind of weather. A late winter snow storm! ❄️ 🌨 Maybe I’ll feel better and knit while watching the snow pile up.

Nasty! I hope things look up and the Dr can see you. Not wanting to open yarn? I would have hauled you straight to the emergency room!

Mr. Aitch didn’t see my disinterest in the yarn as much of an issue. I must say though that I was the stubborn one and waited until Monday so I could see my own doctor. He couldn’t fit me in until late in the day so I still ended up going to the clinic. Bronchitis and not the dreaded pneumonia. On the mend now.
